IFFCO held a high voltage “National Agricultural Techniques Conference” last week at the farm of Padma Shri award-winning farmer Ram Saran Verma in Daulatpur village, Barabanki district, South Korea. ‘Uttar Pradesh, where Governor Anandiben Patel was the guest of honor.
The theme of the program was “Khet ki Baat, Khet Par”. The farm house was decorated to illustrate advanced farming techniques for the participants.
Union Agriculture Minister for the State Purshottam Rupala was also present on the occasion in addition to other distinguished guests.
Addressing the Farmers The Governor of Uttar Pradesh, Anandiben Patel, appreciated the efforts of Ram Saran Verma who adopted the latest agricultural technologies and his role in the field of agriculture.
The governor said that agriculture also plays an important role in strengthening the economy. She urged the administration to guarantee the purchase of the farmers’ produce and urged all successful farmers to each adopt a child with tuberculosis to ensure their nutrition so that they are able to overcome the disease.
The governor said there is a need to popularize new technologies in agriculture so that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of doubling farmers’ incomes can be realized by 2022.
Union Minister Purushottam Rupala praised Ram Saran Verma’s agriculture using the latest technology and described it as a major contribution in the field of agriculture.
In his remarks, Rupala also appreciated IFFCO’s efforts for new innovations. IFFCO’s nanotechnology-based products are the new revolution in agriculture and it’s the biggest milestone, Rupala noted.
“The farmers had to carry the urea bag on their shoulders but with the initiative of IFFCO they could carry the urea bottle in their pockets. Currently, the field track is taking place on the farms of more than 11,000 farmers, ”Rupala said praising IFFCO.
Later, IFFCO MD Dr US Awasthi and his Marketing Director Yogendra Kumar explained the benefits of IFFCO’s nanotechnology-based products, particularly nano-nitrogen, to the Governor of the UP.

The governor also visited the stalls set up for farmers and congratulated eight farmers on the occasion.
IFFCO Vice President Dileepbhai Sanghani, MP Upendra Singh Rawat, Former Minister Sangram Singh Verma, MP Sharad Awasthi, District President BJP Awdesh Srivastava and others were present on the occasion.
