An agricultural equipment company with a strong footprint in the central valley was acquired.
Southern California-based Sonsray Machinery, the West Coast’s largest CASE Construction dealer, has acquired CASE IH Booth Machinery farm equipment dealer.
“We are delighted to continue to expand into a new industry that we have not yet entered and the brand we represent is phenomenal,” said Matthew Hoelscher, President and CEO of Sonsray Machinery.
The acquisition of Booth Machinery is part of Sonsray’s strategy to grow globally, according to a press release. Sonsray supports industries that contribute to basic necessities such as housing, food and transportation. By purchasing Booth Machinery, Sonsray obtains five new locations: Bakersfield, Five Points (Fresno County), Fresno, Salinas and Yuma, Arizona.
These locations will distribute farm equipment and mark Sonsray’s breakthrough in the agricultural industry.
“I grew up on a farm and am delighted to be working with farm equipment again,” Hoelscher said.
