BBC tops RTS Craft and Design shortlist

RTS has announced the list of nominations for the 2021 RTS Craft & Design Awards.

The winners will be announced on Monday 22sd November, at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

In the 29 competitive categories, BBC One leads the way with 21 nominations, including four for its hit drama Its dark materials, produced by Bad Wolf for BBC One and HBO, and three for Mammoth Screen’s The snake. Channel 4 gathered 10 nods, including five for Working Title Television We are lady pieces in various categories, including the Casting Award which is now in its second year. Other nominees for this category include ITV The Pembrokeshire Murders and BBC Two and HBO Industry.

Awards Chairman Ade Rawcliffe said: “The list of nominees is a testament to the unique and genre-defining programming that has been carried out in the UK over the past year and the talented artisans of our industry. The juries once again had their work cut out for them and we look forward to coming together to celebrate all of the nominees and crown the winners later this month. “
