The Agricultural Equipment Sector (FES) of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., part of the Mahindra Group, today announced its tractor sales figures for November 2021.
Domestic sales in November 2021 were 26,094 units, up from 31,619 units in November 2020.
Total tractor sales (domestic + exports) in November 2021 amounted to 2,7681 units, compared to 32,726 units for the same period last year.
Exports for the month were 1,587 units.
Commenting on the performance, Hemant Sikka, President – Agricultural Equipment Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. in some states. Rural sentiments remain positive due to good Rabi seedlings and high reservoir levels. The intensification of purchases for the Kharif harvest will bring stable cash flow, which is expected to boost demand for tractors in the future. In the export market, we sold 1,587 tractors, an increase of 43% over last year. “
Mahindra & Mahindra Limited shares were last trading in BSE at Rs. 834.95 from the previous close of Rs. 835.75. The total number of shares traded during the day was 135,276 in over 4,901 trades.
The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 842.90 and an intraday low of 823.85. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 112,739,200.00.
