TV star Vernon Kay self-isolates on a massive farm in Anglesey ahead of his I’m A Celeb debut. The star has been confirmed among this year’s cast
Vernon Kay has secluded himself on a huge farm with a hot tub away from his wife Tess Daly as he prepares to appear in I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here.
The 49-year-old TV presenter, who has been confirmed as one of this year’s IAC nominees, revealed he was delighted to be heading to Gwrych Castle and urged fans to vote for him in challenges.
Sharing an update on his Instagram page, the father-of-two took fans on a tour of the lavish property he had secluded himself in before the show.
The entire cast were asked to isolate themselves in separate locations for two weeks before heading to the ITV set.
Although some candidates isolated themselves with loved ones, Vernon’s wife Tess Daly and their two daughters Phoebe and Amber did not join the TV presenter on the farm.
Speaking to his 132,000 Instagram followers, Vernon recorded himself walking around the sprawling property.

“So it was announced that I will be attending I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here. I can’t wait to be honest with you,” Vernon said as he stood in the garden.
“But before we entered the castle in North Wales, we isolated ourselves separately in beautiful farms, guesthouses, hotels, that sort of thing.
“And I was fortunate enough to stay in this place. It is a lovely little farm in Anglesey.
He continued, “The times have been interesting. Hideous winds at times I couldn’t sleep, other than that it’s been great.
“I brought my own golf net so I could practice my golf swing. Look at the Moors behind me. You see the RAF flying overhead almost every day practicing their low level flying skills.”
Vernon then took viewers on a tour of his lavish farm stay which included a hot tub and huge kitchen with plenty of space.

The father-of-two appears to have occupied himself in isolation training golf, playing Xbox and training on his bike machine.
Vernon added, “Upstairs we have a handful of bedrooms which are a waste of time because it’s just me on the farm.
The TV star then asked his fans to vote for him as he was eager to get involved in all the challenges and tasks thrown at the IAC candidates.
He then spoke of his enthusiasm for meeting his fellow campmates later this week.
